Director WONG YI TIN

Mr. Wong Yi Tin, the Director of FEIKEN BEARING SDN BHD, is an exceptional leader who has transformed adversity into achievement.

In 2019, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Malaya, setting the foundation for his journey. Driven by his passion for engineering, he founded FEIKEN BEARING that same year. This journey was far from smooth, with unforeseen pandemic situations that intensified the economic downturn. However, his determination and resilience steered the company toward remarkable accomplishments and substantial growth.

A visionary at heart, Mr. Wong envisions FEIKEN BEARING becoming the No. 1 Bearing Company in Malaysia. This vision isn't merely a goal; it's a shared purpose that unites the entire FEIKEN team under his inspirational leadership. In a significant breakthrough, a new chapter was written in 2022 as FEIKEN BEARING expanded its reach with a branch in Penang. This strategic move is a testament to Mr. Wong's strategic thinking and his commitment to overcoming obstacles.

Moving forward, he will continue steering FEIKEN towards empowering Malaysia's manufacturing landscape, machine makers, and industries. The mission of delivering quality products, effective solutions, and service excellence shapes not only the company's success but also influences the future of mechanical transmission technology and sustainable industrialization.

SDGs 2030:

• Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG 7): FEIKEN is committed to promoting clean energy sources within its operations. We aim to use 100% renewable energy to power our production facilities by 2030, minimizing carbon impact and aligning with SDG 7. We will also look into chances to form partnerships that can improve renewable energy solutions.


• Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8): Our commitment to our employees and local communities is unwavering. We aim to create a work environment that promotes decent work conditions, professional growth, and economic stability. This includes investing in skill development programs, fair wage practices, and ensuring a safe workplace. Furthermore, we are committed to contributing to the economic growth of the regions in which we operate by fostering local employment and supporting economic development initiatives.


• Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (SDG 9): FEIKEN places a premium on innovation and infrastructure as a bearing manufacturer and supplier. We will continue to invest in R&D to drive innovation in our goods and manufacturing processes. Our goal is to provide advanced, sustainable bearing solutions that support the development of resilient and sustainable infrastructure, thereby advancing SDG 9.


• Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12): We are committed to responsible consumption and production practices. We strive to reduce waste generation and resource usage throughout our supply chain and product lifecycle. This includes implementing circular economy principles, designing products for longevity, and reducing environmental impact. We will also continue to work with suppliers who share our commitment to responsible production.


• Climate Action (SDG 13): We will have achieved carbon neutrality in our operations by significantly reducing emissions, transitioning to renewable energy, and investing in carbon offset projects. Additionally, we will actively engage with our customers to help them reduce their carbon footprint by offering energy-efficient bearing solutions, thereby contributing to SDG 13.


• Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17): Recognizing the importance of collaboration, we will actively seek partnerships with organizations, customers, suppliers, and local communities to collectively work towards achieving these SDGs. We hope to be a part of effective partnerships that create long-term change, fostering a collaborative effort to accomplish SDG 17.

Environmental (E): Achieving Net-Zero Emissions
FEIKEN is committed to achieving net-zero emissions through innovation, research, and investment in renewable energy sources. This includes R&D efforts focused on emission reduction technologies, participation in carbon offset programs, and the ongoing exploration of renewable energy partnerships to minimize its carbon footprint.

Social (S): Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
FEIKEN is committed to encouraging workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion through initiatives emphasizing respect for all backgrounds. We emphasize employee well-being through rigorous health and safety protocols, regular safety training, and community outreach efforts that align with local needs, including educational and skill development partnerships.

Sustainable Product Lifecycle
FEIKEN is committed to developing a sustainable product lifetime by working with designers to employ recyclable materials while emphasizing durability and repairability. In addition, we will take responsibility for products through initiatives such as take-back programs and responsible end-of-life management.

Innovation and Infrastructure
FEIKEN prioritizes innovation and sustainable infrastructure by allocating a substantial budget to R&D, emphasizing sustainable processes and energy-efficient products. Additionally, we will invest in upgrading infrastructure, including energy-efficient lighting, and look into renewable energy sources for its facilities, all in pursuit of greater sustainability

Responsible Consumption and Production
FEIKEN actively promotes responsible consumption and production by engaging closely with its suppliers to ensure they adopt sustainable practices and conducting audits to monitor progress. To develop ethical practices throughout the company, we devoted ourselves to employee training and awareness initiatives focusing on waste reduction measures and practical resource usage.
